High standard office
A villa built in a favourable position on a hill in the Eur district – an area that has recently gained importance – has been designed as a Deluxe Representation Office for a well-known building Company. It stretches over an area typified by a recently restored ancient stone wall. The aim of the project is to create an outstanding structure visible in daytime and at night; it will employ the most up to date technologies of bioclimatic architecture.
The linear volumetry of the structure projects from the wall on which it is placed; it is juxtaposed with the welcome area at the lower floor whose large green terraces projects towards the near public park.
Water visually delineates the different spaces and also plays an active role in the bioclimatic devices installed and provides a natural refreshment in summertime.

HIGH STANDARD OFFICE BIOCLIMATIC
This project is not only an example of technological architecture but above all a space in which environmental engineering plays a relevant role.
A piece of land, adapted to collect rainwater and use it for the building energy output, is the base of two well balanced superimposed volumes. The large continuous roofing provides the main system serving several purposes: accumulation of solar energy, thermal adjustment and housing of photovoltaic installation.
Openings correctly manage the incoming light and are part of the overall energy programme of the building together with the openings of two bioclimatic greenhouses.
